Infra Pipe Solutions is looking for mechanically inclined people who enjoy working with tools, machinery, and building things.
You don’t need to come from plastics or pipe manufacturing. If you have experience fixing equipment, working with tools, repairing machinery, or doing hands-on mechanical work, we want to talk to you.
People who have done well in this role often come from backgrounds such as:
Pipefitting
Mechanical trades
Welding / fabrication
Small engine or equipment repair
Automotive or truck mechanics
Construction trades
Farming / heavy equipment operation
Industrial labour or manufacturing
If you’re comfortable working with machinery, measuring, cutting, and assembling components, we will train you on our processes.
Infra Pipe Solutions has over 60 years of experience designing and manufacturing engineered polyethylene piping systems used in major water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects across North America.
Our Huntsville facility specializes in custom fabrication of large pipe fittings and components used in municipal and industrial projects.
As part of our fabrication team, you will help build custom HDPE pipe fittings and components used in infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities include:
Operating fabrication equipment and shop tools
Cutting, fitting, and assembling HDPE pipe components
Using hand tools and shop equipment such as saws, drills, and measuring tools
Reading basic drawings and measurements (training provided)
Monitoring fabrication processes to ensure quality and accuracy
Troubleshooting minor equipment or fabrication issues
Moving materials and finished products using forklifts (training provided if needed)
Keeping the shop organized and following safety procedures
Supporting continuous improvement and shop organization initiatives (LEAN / 5S)
We are looking for mechanically inclined people who enjoy hands-on work.
Ideal candidates may have:
Experience working with tools, machinery, or mechanical equipment
Trades experience such as pipefitting, welding, fabrication, mechanical repair, or construction
Experience with band saws, drill presses, chainsaws, or shop tools
The ability to read a tape measure and follow instructions
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
A reliable work history and strong work ethic
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous plastic pipe fabrication experience is NOT required. Training will be provided.
